No regrets says Mark Webber - Red Bull Racing

webber, mark webberDespite finishing the 2007 Formula One championship season nine points behind the team he left due to poor performances in 2006, Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber has no regrets about leaving Williams to join the Milton Keynes based squad stating that it is the team he has raced for, even though he has nothing against his former employers…

“It was great driving for Frank and Patrick,” he said in Autosport. “I would have liked that to be a more fruitful relationship in terms of results, but of course so have they. It was a very hard time at Williams, they were going through a difficult patch.”

Red Bull seeking legal action over leaked blueprints

red bull, autosport, spyker f1According to reports in Autosport, the Red Bull racing team believe they have identified the person or persons responsible for leaking confidential blueprints to the Spyker F1 team that they in turn took to the FIA to prove that Red Bull had designed parts of this year’s Toro Rosso, and are looking to seek legal action in regard to the matter.

Australian GP 2007: We just need to be patient says Mark Webber

webber, mark webber, mark webber gp 2007, webber gp f1 2007, red bullMark Webber had hoped for a better finish than unlucky 13th in front of his home fans in Melbourne yesterday afternoon, especially after he qualified his Red Bull RB3 in seventh place on the grid.

However, a number of gremlins, including a malfunctioning fuel flap that opened as he came in for his first pitstop then closed firmly, making the team prise it open with a screwdriver in order to put in precious fuel, and then remained open for the rest of the race, resulting in a 7% loss in rear downforce.
